Dr Dipu Siddiqui: On Friday morning, Professor Dr. A. N. M. Meshquat Uddin, Vice-Chancellor of Royal University of Dhaka, called upon students from all departments to actively work as brand ambassadors to promote and advance the university.
The event was attended by Brigadier General (Retd.) A. S. M. Mushfiqur Rahman, Registrar of the University; Associate Professor Joharat Ara, Head of the English Department; Associate Professor Sarkar, Chairman of the Department of Hotel, Tourism, and Management; Associate Professor Murad Hasan, Chairman of the Department of Business Administration; along with coordinators and chairpersons from various other departments.
The Vice-Chancellor emphasized that students should not limit themselves to academic excellence alone but also take responsibility for increasing student enrollment and enhancing the university’s educational activities. He stated, “If a student is truly satisfied with their education at the university, they will naturally encourage others to join. Students are the most credible representatives of their university, and their trustworthiness and acceptance are highly valued by society and guardians.”

He highlighted the importance of developing leadership skills by taking on the role of a brand ambassador, which would positively impact their future academic and professional careers. Additionally, he encouraged students to engage in social activities alongside their academic pursuits to gain real-world experience.
The Vice-Chancellor also urged faculty members, staff, and administrators to work together towards this goal.
