Dhaka, January 31, 2025: A special seminar on cervical cancer awareness was organized by the Inner Wheel Club of Dhaka North last Friday (January 31) at Dhaka Metropolitan Hospital in Mohakhali. January is observed as Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, aiming to raise awareness about this preventable disease.
The seminar’s chief guest was Farhana Kaiyum, Chairman of Inner Wheel District-345. Special guests included Mahosena Reza, National Representative of IW Bangladesh (2022-2023), and Tahiya Khalil, National Representative (2024-2025).
The keynote presentations were delivered by Dr. Momena Khatun Rozy, Consultant, Medical College for Women and Hospital, and Dr. Touhida Akter, Assistant Registrar, National Institute of Cancer Research and Hospital.
