Dr Dipu Siddiqui,Dhaka, March 12, 2025: The Royal University of Dhaka (RUD) marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of its state-of-the-art Physics and Chemistry, Electronics Lab at its permanent campus on March 12, 2025. Today at noon, the an eminent educationist and Vice-Chancellor of Royal University of Dhaka, Professor Dr. ANM Meshquat Uddin inaugurated the lab.
The event was graced by the presence of the Registrar Brigadier General (retd) ASM Mushfiqur Rahman, Dean ,Controller of Examinations (CoE), Chairpersons of various departments, faculty members, and RUD officials.
The inauguration ceremony commenced with a ribbon-cutting by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, followed by a tour of the newly established laboratories, which are equipped with advanced instruments to facilitate hands-on learning and cutting-edge research. In his address, the Vice-Chancellor professor Dr ANM Meshquat Uddin
emphasized the university’s commitment to fostering a research-driven academic environment and ensuring quality education through practical engagement.
The Registrar and CoE highlighted the importance of well-equipped labs in strengthening the academic foundation of students, particularly in the fields of science and technology. The Chairpersons and faculty members expressed their enthusiasm about the enhanced learning opportunities these labs will provide to students.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks from the event organizers, acknowledging the efforts of all stakeholders in making this initiative a success. With the launch of these new laboratories, RUD takes another step forward in its journey of academic excellence and innovation.
