Dr Dipu Siddiqui: Kripanath Malah, a Member of the Lok Sabha of India, visited the Amar Ekushey Book Fair on February 15th at 6 pm, upon the invitation of the Bengali Sahitya Sankruti Sangsad. During his visit, he engaged in conversations at various pavilions and attended prayers at the Kali temple.
He toured several stalls, including those hosted by the Bangladesh Awami Swecchasebak League, Jubo League, Bangabandhu Parishad, Matrubhumi, and Bangabandhu Foundation, where he exchanged pleasantries with officials.
At Stall No. 851 of the Bangeeya Sahitya Sanskriti Samsad, Shri Kripanath Malah Bishwapradip lit the lamp and delivered a brief speech. He emphasized the deep and historic relationship between the governments and peoples of India and Bangladesh, particularly referencing the liberation war. Malah expressed hope that writers would continue to contribute to regional peace and harmony.
Kamrul Islam, the General Secretary of BSSS, stated that Malah’s visit would enhance the success of Bengali’s “Bishvasabha” campaign.
