Presswatch report:The 616th session of the seminar on Bangabandhu’s political philosophy was held virtually on Zoom Webinar by JANIPOP, and experts discussed the Father of the Nation’s contributions to Bangladesh. The seminar was presided over by JANIPOP’s Founder Chairman, Prof. Dr. Major Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah, BNCCO.
The seminar was graced by Ex Vice Chancellor of Kustia Islamic University Professor Dr. Harun-ur-Rashid Askari as Chief Guest.
The seminar was also graced by esteemed guests, including Bangladesh Bharat Maitri Samiti General Secretary Birmuktijoddha Subir Kushari, Bir Muktijoddha SM Farid Uddin Miyaji, Vidyasagar Foundation Secretary General Abdul Hai Bachchu, and Bangladesh Brand Ambassador of Bangabandhu Commission Md Shibaji Fakir. Special guests included Arjina Khanam, president of Rangpur Mahila Awami League, Amatun Noor, former leader of Chhatra League and women entrepreneur, Humayun Kabir, senior journalist from Kushtia, and Ferdous Wahid Bappi, National Volunteer of JANIPOP.
Dr. Kalimullah paid tribute to the memory of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and highlighted his efforts to protect the sanctity of fasting.
The Chief guest of the season Dr. Harun-ur-Rashid Askari emphasized that Bangabandhu’s vision and Sheikh Hasina’s achievements are intertwined, and Bangladesh’s greatest achievement is independence, which was made possible under the visionary leadership of Bangabandhu.
Freedom fighter Subir Kushari acknowledged that Bangladesh’s fundamental achievements, including independence, were accomplished thanks to Bangabandhu’s leadership. Valiant Freedom fighter Farid Uddin Miyaji emphasized the importance of preserving and nurturing the spirit of the liberation war.
Shibaji Fakir acknowledged Bangabandhu’s advocacy for democracy, while the seminar was conducted by the Bangabandhu Commission and Dr. Dipu Siddiqui, America’s Millennium TV Country Director and Daily Presswatch Editor. The seminar also featured presentations by Shafiul Bashar, an engineer at Dhaka University, Dr.Mahbubul Haque and Dr. Bayezida Farzana, Vice Principal of Ideal Kids Care School from Brahmanbaria.
