The Inner Wheel Club of Dhaka Uptown has distributed school bags and notebooks among underprivileged children in Borura Upazila, Cumilla. The initiative was conducted under the supervision of Biplobi Kobi Tuhin Ahmed Projonmo, the founder of Projonmo Sahitya O Sangskritik Kendra, and took place from morning to evening on Friday.
A total of 200 students received attractive school bags and notebooks as gifts, bringing joy and enthusiasm among the children. The recipients actively participated in a motivational program, which inspired and encouraged them.
During the event, Mahmud Rahman, a representative of Inner Wheel Club of Dhaka North, joined via video call from Dhaka. Present at the program were Rima Chishti, Secretary of the organization, and member Nilufar Begum, along with Mahmud Rahman from Inner Wheel Club of Dhaka North.
In recognition of this noble initiative, Professor Dr. Dipu Siddiqui, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Royal University of Dhaka, expressed appreciation. The organization’s General Secretary, poet Rima Chishti, renowned social worker Nilufar Begum, and poet Tuhin Ahmed Projonmo, the founder and director of Projonmo Sahitya O Sangskritik Kendra, along with Masud Ahmed Mazumdar, President of Borura Upazila Press Club, and other dignitaries also conveyed their gratitude.
The organization’s leaders extended their heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in making the initiative successful. The residents of Borura have expressed their best wishes for the continued success of the Inner Wheel Club of Dhaka Uptown.
